TOMMY LEE Proposes Tour Of U.S. Military Bases
October 11, 2002Ex-MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee has suggested a tour of U.S. military bases as part of his probation stemming from his conviction on spousal abuse charges, according to Launch.
The proposal was made by Lee on Thursday (October 10) in Los Angeles to Superior Court Judge Lawrence Mira, who said such a tour may release the rocker from probation before a May 2003 expiration date, and may also satisfy his remaining 237 hours of community service. Lee is scheduled to return to court for a hearing on April 10, 2003, when the judge will have the option to release him from probation, the Associated Press reports.
